You people are really odd. I first learned about Minecraft from Facebook and I started playing the free version where you get unlimited blocks for about 3 months until I became dissatisfied...HOWEVER before I actually bought the game I had been educated with Let's Plays that I had been watching in my free time. Those taught me the basics such as to build your house on top of a hill, what to do on your first night, what to do with iron and how to build simple structures.
And even after I played offline for like 1 month I still didn't really play on any servers since I'm incredibly picky about which ones I go on. I hate servers with infinite players, I hate servers where every person has a different colored text, I hate servers where you're restricted, I hate severs where I have no friends, the list goes on. Graalians and Awesomecraft were the only ones I liked because they were made by my friends on Facebook so I fit right in.
I never installed any mods or hacks and I hardly play creative, that's why it's so devastating to see people ruin their first experience from Minecraft. Minecraft is survival...it's supposed to be a little confusing, and it is certainly not about flying around killing cows and pigs with a diamond sword or a piece of string, w/e.
I enjoy TNT at times, but not when I see people log in everyday with like thirteen people around them blowing up a big hole of TNT...seriously, that's no ****ing fun.
