When I was creating the riot shield, I was contemplating this feature, as well as many others. However when I thought over the riot shield defense placement, several problems occured. First, if players could just plant them as defenses, squads could place down a bunch and completely dominate bases. Then you guys would complain about it being too OP. If we tried to add a breaking point, a health bar for the riot shield where at one point of absorbing damage, it'll break apart, would we have the item returned to your inventory or have it turned into a multiple buy - single use item? Obviously we won't return it to your inventory after it breaks, for the sake of realism. But to sell it as a single use item? It'd still be costing you an arm and a leg considering it also blocks damage. So would you really be up for buying 20 riot shields that you can place for 10k each? No. No you wouldn't. So after seeing the problem, I'm sure you'll all agree that I made the right decision not bringing this function to the table. The riot shield was never meant as a VIP item, rather it was meant to be sold in shops with two others. However management made a decision to release it as a VIP.

You definitely made the right choice, I would hate th riot shield if it were made like that. It's not too OP either, it isn't hard to move around them and hit them.
