On topic:
Funk is right, the spawn does need to be moved back outside the arena or to a specified respawn area. My question is, why was it changed so that we spawn in the arena in the first place. There must be some reasoning behind it, right?

It was most likely changed when they changed the whole skyworld to PK. They had to change the spawn on skyworld because people kept getting sent to the planet selection when they died, so when they changed that it mustve also changed for the PK Arena spawn.
