How do we find out whos good and whos not? Whos really telling the truth and whos lieing?

this is like the best question really.... this is why we hire players using Applications. Even if they are recommended by staff, we still have them use Applications. This is the only we can try to decide really.
but once we hire it's always like this...
-[Hired players based on apps]-;
-Hiree happened to be known in the server -> players complain that it's favoritism.
-Hiree happened to be unknown in the server -> players complain we hire noobs who don't know anything about the server.
This is pretty much all I see every time we hire.
I also see players just complain about staff and then claim that "they will do a better job if hired, I have more hours, etc" just like the first post.
Most people who are hired as a PR do their job correctly for like first month or so and then realize how much of a burden it is helping all these players who ask the same questions every... single.... day.... and you just lose all interest in being a PR, sometimes even in the game as well, then quit... or as shown by some former PR's who try to "go out with a bang" announce using foul language, or try to add items/money to their ios accounts/players.
We try to do our best, well most of us lol but like Pumad said... We volunteer to do our jobs. We don't get payed but we still try to help when/if we can.
No one will ever be satisfied with our work.
