It still wouldn't matter if it went from 50 to 100... the dmg of the guns would be adjusted just as if you had to kill someone who had 50hp

It opens up more room so you could use whole numbers instead of decimals to finer tune damage coefficients.
So, let's say some people believe the Shipka needs a damage buff, but in our current system the only buff would be from 9 -> 10, which a lot of players can agree on being too powerful. If we want to buff it without reaching that point, we would need to have 9.5 or other, which can't be implemented. But, if the HP cap was raised to 100, then the number could be 19.
