In my opinion, I say it depends on the player's skill or purpose.
BUT...to me, the M4 is the victor as it has an 8 damage base and a nice spread. Even if Cloyd ruined it and most of the older guns.

Yea it mainly is about skill, only thingi like about the M4 is the curve.
