Practice is essential. Open up a custom game, no bots, go mid and farm as much as you can within 10 minutes. Repeat the process until you've gotten used to it. You shouldn't go base once since your main goal is to farm with little AD as possible.

I've tried, no matter how much I practice I can't get it down, I'm too laggy to be able to do it.
