Well............. do you really think a multi-million dollar project doesn't have enough people on the team so that some people can work on exploits while others work on something like the character data loss?



Chances are your character data is saved on their servers. If your data got corrupted or saved over with blank data or whatever could have happened, there is nothing to retrieve, unless they have backups... which they may or may not. But if they do a rollback then new characters get lost, and with all the exploits they simple might not want to roll back. It depends on a lot of factors, but if there were an easy fix then they would have done it by now.
