OT: It depends on what u want to do with your time really. If the reason you are towering is to get a rare hat then I understand that it doesn't make much sense to go all out. But if you like to take towers because ten are fun to take, hold and defend. Then it really doesn't matter who get what. Maybe you should joins more relaxed or less active guild so you aren't forced to be constantly at a tower and unable to participate in events. In the end, it's hard to have the best of both worlds. You either get the towering experience or the farming/grinding for gralats to buy hats and such.

I completely agree. It is very difficult to balance both. I want to tower and help my guild but at the same time I want to spend a good chunk of time here and there just playing casually or doing a limited time only event. Sometimes it's a struggle just to have time to do pyrate bay and get slimey spoils everyday. Let alone have any kind of time to catch bugs or farm for extra gralats that's pretty much impossible unless I get lucky and catch a time when nobody is on.
