I feel most teens get put under pressure when they graduate school and have to figure out whether to go to college or get a job, but know that its already hard to get a job. They didn't do so well in school so they stress out that they won't do well in college and figure its a waste of time so they do neither.

This, I believe most stress and pressure in an adolescent's life comes after they finish high school. There's not much else prior to that.

I think teens are put under pressure that causes them to either hurt themselves or others. I feel that its the parents fault if they put that child under pressure by saying I'll kick you out or more at a young age causing them to feel that if they fail one subject there automatically not family material. In japan, I believe if you ever got a 99 and not a 100 you'd be punished.

It's not the parents' fault, it's only natural to push your child to succeed. Don't be so melodramatic.
