Maybe make the chests like the spots when diving?
Basically you would need to have the shovel and find the spot where your map leads you. If you find it you will see a spot on the ground to know where you can dig. You will be the only one that is able to see the spot and the only one that is able to dig the treasure up just like how the diving system works.
