I'm developing an open source alternative to the official rc as the official one hasn't been updated for Windows since 2006. The point of the project was for me to learn how to deal with GtkSharp, Mono and cross-platform .NET/Mono development.

The RC mimics the look and feel of the official one and will have the same features + improvements.

Features so far:

Cross-platform, one build works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
Has the same support for skins as the official one.
Toalls window.
PM windows that works more like in modern IM's.
IRC-tabs + chat.
RC chat + commands.

Binary and source download will be available as soon as I've implemented all the basic features.
