I was talking about the third party exclusives who originally pledged their loyalty to the Ps3 but then went multi console..im guessing Sony didn't pay them off enough?

Who knows, the contract could have only been for a few years. I don't know the details of these exclusivity contracts but I'm pretty sure you just can't "break" them. If Sony paid for exclusive rights to Metal Gear Solid then Konami has no choice but to oblige. If its namesake is appearing on another console then it must be part of the agreement.
