I've jail broken my brothers' iPad, it got bricked and stuck on the Apple Logo, then I installed the IPSW file and restored from it, tried again and it worked...
The issue was caused due to updating on the air, where you should update via iTunes.

I had issues
after the jailbreak so I just updated via computer and rejailbroke. No problems anymore.
