I saw the first episode but it just got on my nerves. Most irritating was the protagonist who was whiney and abusive.

But then the blatant dismissal of fluid mechanics was too much to handle for my suspension of disbelief since I have to deal with fluid mechanics all the time in my real life.

Nagi no Asukara has an annoying protagonist, but the art and animation for it is just beautiful.
