That's true. Some parts of America that aren't very modernly connected to the world only have one real way of connecting. I live in a populated area so I have access to AT&T Uverse, Xfinity, Cox, Timewarner, Verizon, Charter. You won't know most of these companies, but I have those options available from small ISP's to multinational ones. It's not just me though, a lot of Americans have these as well.

A lot of populated and modernly set up areas don't have choices. Around here it is either Verizon or Comcast, because Verizon owns the phone lines and Comcast owns the cable lines.
