I believe he's saying that a KD ratio should only count PvP. The only other instance that effects this at all is baddies killing you, which that may not even count towards deaths. Nothing else should actually award a kill or death, period. This wouldn't ruin anything.

Ya, there would have to be a control on deaths by baddies. If youre trying to get eyepatches or just baddy killing in general, it shouldnt affect Current KD ratio. But if at least 3/6 of your hits are received from players, it WILL affect your ratio; to discourage PKers from running in front of a baddy at .5
