Finished the first half of Guilty Crown...
Spoiler
1-13: Not sure how I feel about the quality of the series as a whole yet. There isn't really an established centralized plot that's the focus of the episodes, just seems like the episodes are Funeral Parlor missions (or just Shu missions) that vaguely relate to the Apocalypse Virus. Going to be comparing this a lot to Code Geass because they're very similar, and I felt Code Geass had a stronger main plotline with each character having their own backstory and personal agenda, which I don't feel is happening in GC as strongly. '3D' character development also seems forced at the moment aside from Shu, Ayase and /maybe/ Yahiro, especially on Inori (the whole 'is this love?' deal like five episodes after she told him to stay away) and Daryl's (notorious for brutality and barbaric killing having fun with Tsugumi at a school festival) part. GC pulled a lot of concepts from CG as well, such as the whole 'man at Heaven's gate', the Endlaves, regular boy inheriting the power of a king (interestingly enough, Geass and the Void Genome are both referred to as the King's Power), protags joining a terrorist faction, etc. GC does do a really good job at creating a hatable antagonist with good development which I felt was lacking in CG, as well as decent relationships between the MC and side characters, especially with Yahiro and Inori, even though they still feel pretty similar. The second half looks like it can be very promising though, looking forward to it.
