● Tarantulas (random, eh no)
● The dark slimes in railroads set free (ok..)
● Bats roam the night sky (I like it)
● More spiders (but why?)
● Some Npc's go in their homes (I like it, make's sense)
● Creepy eyes in trees/dark areas (...)
● Lanterns hung (good idea)
● Just night related ideas (yep)
Might I add night-time would/should have a quiet, maybe crickets chirping background music, instead of that jumpy daytime music. It would fit the mood

Graal doesn't really have a way to implement multiple light sources. I tried a few different methods when I was doing the railroads, and none of them were really appealing. Also, it seems unfair to throw a newbie into a world in which they can't fully explore for a few hours. Even if they could get to Graal City they'd be stuck there unless we scatter lamps everywhere, which kind of defeats the purpose. I just don't think this is the manner in which lanterns will truly be useful.
My comments are merely directed towards whether or not the Lantern would be of use, not really whether a day/night cycle would happen.

If I was a new player and I came into a day-night system I would probably be more interested than the *other*
things graal offers to new players..
