For a balanced group gun like this it may seem like one hit kill type thing but maybe this could be its properties

-The gun will shoot a wide beam with a range of about 40 Tiles in that range it shoots a beam that does about 15 damage per second the damage will be calculated on how long the player is exposed to its laser radiation or the beam itself the player will not be put in a hurt gani when hit so it gives them time to escape depending on how wide the laser will shoot.
