I prefer dubs, simply because I find it difficult to completely immerse myself in the anime I'm watching if I have to focus on the text at the bottom of the screen instead of the visuals. I know there's a big debate among anime fanatics with a side that argues that only "true fanatics" watch anime with subtitles, but I'd rather enjoy what I'm watching rather than please a group of people I've never met.
