Sub protects against status, and if they try to status you, you basically get a free turn of setup. Subs can also be passed on.

Ah, okay. I actually haven't seen them be used too much yet for some reason. I really like Zoroark. The whole illusion thing is awesome. I almost took out Mewtwo with the one I used that wasn't even EV trained.
