Yeah Inu x Boku in my opinion felt quite rushed and didn't have enough Character development to really connect with a character.

I think quite a few single season anime are the same way, I wished they had gone at least 2 seasons with Angel Beats so that they could help each of the main characters move on.
Finished with Beyond the Boundary now as well. I really love the ending until the last 10 seconds! If they were gonna do that, at least wait til you have season 2 so you can get rid of all those loose ends as well.
Watching Guilty Crown right now, so far it's good.
