I agree that it would certainly help if there where different maps or areas to choose from to play in. I also think they need to change the rewards system as well. What where we getting before 10-20 gralats if you where on the winning team? Thats kind of a crappy incentive. Who would want to play a mini game for so little? I'm not saying they would have to give out big gobs of gralats to winners. Just higher than that say 50-100 gralats to each member of the winning team. I think they could give out gralats for certain accomplishments during matches as well. For example: An extra 20 gralats for successfully capturing an oppentents flag,and returning it to your base. An extra 5 for pking an opposing player that captured your flag.
