Their old method was making monsters or things spawn while you do something like mine or fish or cut trees, like that old man with the "you must be brain dead if you get this wrong" puzzles that you would get a reward for completing.

Yeah! There was: Water Troll for fishing and Mine Monster (or something) for mining, i haven't played for a while but when I was last on I was level 132 and had over 200mil.
