Ok so one moment, Rentaro is on the verge of death and then the other moment, he suddenly possesses this OP weapon to fight the Gastrea. And then he beats the creepy masked guy and just before everything seems good and dandy this giant ****ing tentacle monster starts attacking. At this point I pretty much gave up on this anime.
