Over the past six months or so we've been working on-and-off on a large-scale update for Graalians Minecraft (aptly dubbed the Upcoming Update). Just some features of the new update include:
- Complete rendition of the Classic map
- Guilds, including guild towers
- Sparring
- AP and proper Classic-styled nicknames
- Classic-styled items, such as bombs and arrows
- Classic-styled texture pack
- Revised spawning system on the build map
Right now we are approaching the final stretch of development. Our current goal is to release the server alongside the impending Minecraft 1.9 update, and in the interest of doing so we are looking to expand our team. We are reaching out to the community to help fill the following positions.
- Builders to assist with map production
- Graphic artists to help finish the texture pack
- Coders to create side-projects as well as prepare for future updates
If you believe you are qualified to help with any of the above, please
send me a Forum PM with information regarding your experience (examples of work are required*) as well as some general reasoning on why you want to apply. Although sooner is always better, the final cut off for applications will be a week from now on
Sunday, May 25. In the event that you are accepted, you will need a Skype account so that you can keep in touch with what is going on. Obviously you also need a
paid Minecraft account.
*Note: If you have been an active builder on any iteration(s) of Graalians Minecraft and you know for a fact that I have seen what you can do, you do not need to include screenshots of your work.
