Tbh I don't think too many people will use it as their mega. While Magic Bounce is good, Sableye's main use was for Prankster.

Sableye is pretty formidable. He starts of with prankster as he goes in the match and people might think he will mega evolve and wont burn him. Taking this chance he can throw in a status move and then mega evolve the next turn as a tank that probs stalls.
