So I started dating my crush back in February, and everything was going pretty smoothly, until she was under the assumption that I didn't really love her (I'm demi-romantic, so I'm bad at dating those who I don't really know). Then, she broke up with me. Gladly, we're best friends now, and I'm probably going to date her again when I know her better, but I've ruined my chance to become more involved with her because I didn't do simple things like hand-holding.
