Some would argue that creating something with the intent of exclusivity is cheap and scummy. Especially in a game where the content you submit is not your property to begin with...

Well they are wrong, if you didn't make it, you need to ask if you can have it.
If you don't have the permission, you don't upload it.
If you upload it, then you are definetly cheap and scummy and a tons of other things that actually count as an insult.
