Judging a war based on kill counts seems a bit boring. If anything, wars should be about interrupting the enemies daily activities.
Back when I used to play(a long time ago) guilds had their OWN war enemies and such. We did this via announcing our wars to our guild members, and in turn any enemy seen was to be killed on sight. We would follow guild members around and kill them until they conceded.
Being warped into an isolated area and killing until someone gets bored just seems like a bit of an anticlimactic approach to war.

I think a war based on killing enemies of the appropriate guild tag on the over world would be fun, and wouldn't get old fast

. Instead of running into Pk mosh pits with no goal except to spam your sword, it would be cool to track down targets and take them down and try to escape without them counter-attacking. Guilds could set up traps and form strategic teams. This would be really cool if spar kills counted too as it would add to the tension inside of a spar match.
It would probably be my new favorite thing about Graal if this was implemented in the way it has been being described on this thread
I do agree about the isolated area though, it does sound like that would get boring fast. I don't want to "contain" my members inside of an anti-social level, I want the war to affect everything that happens in the actual graal overworld. (like a real war would). And oh, the trashtalking that members would be giving inside of Graal city would be priceless !
