I hate sleep paralysis. I don't get the worst part though, I'm never able to open my eyes and see all that spooky stuff. I usually get out of it by trying to breathe really fast and then moving my arm.

The best way to get out of sleep paralysis is by calming your self down, breathing fast/moving fast usually will make the experience much worse.
I'm going to start this off by saying my family is what you would call extremely religious so this was the most awkward situation possible, I am also a heavy lucid dreamer and have been since I was 14.
I'll skip the dream part because it was just me doing the usual(making stuff, messing around, pretending i'm God) it's what came next that freaked out my family, I woke up and of course I was in sleep paralysis there was nothing else in the room but something felt off, out of no where a shadowy demonic figure popped out of no where and now I am use to this sort of thing but holy crap was I terrified, and when I told my parents about it they thought I was Satanic, either way I still find sleep paralysis to be extremely cool
