The only real features I see as plausible that's been suggested is guild houses actually being what they are, in terms of a place members can drop furniture into one place (not the leaders GH, an actual guild house that links to the guild).
A log to see the recent activeness of members, you'd have to be given the power to access it.
Something about joining and leaving, I can't remember what exactly was suggested, but it was a good idea.
Things such as 'a daily guild boss quest' seem silly on Classic standards, imo. I'm more inclined towards guild vs guild activies/minigames such as CTF, war etc.

Uhm, I'm not sure exactly how this thread turned into specifically guild-related discussion, but either way, I'd be on board with this idea as long as they don't touch the current Guild Houses, or at least give us the option. I do use my GH as a guild hangout. But I also enjoy having a much larger house to decorate. If they kept GH's the way they are (but perhaps renamed them "mansions" or something)
and instituted this new type of house linked to the whole guild, then I'd be fine with that, as long as the leader can decide who's allowed to place furniture/who isn't/etc etc.
