You completely missed my point. Graphic manga was PROVEN not to contribute to child abuse, it even said so in the CNN article, despite the article being heavily against it.

I say freedom needs limits, then you say no, now you say in some cases it needs limitations? Is it that hard to realize that you were wrong?

That wasn't my intent, it seems you misinterpreted what I was trying to prove. Slavery is by far one of the worst restrictions on human freedom in history. Yet hundreds of years ago, people thought it was acceptable and a part of life. My point is that restricting freedom may seem like the right and normal thing to do at the time, but it may turn on not to be the best thing in the future.

im willing to bet black people didnt think that. I wouldnt be surprised if the descendants of some of those people still feel that way. People didnt think slavery was ok, they thought black slavery was ok. I would also bet if whites during that time were turned into slaves there would be an outrage towards slavery.

This is what I don't like about how people think. Whenever they see an argument that begins to go to an extreme, they just start to think "LOLOL THIS GUY CAN'T BE SERIOUS" instead of putting thought into what was said. So whenever someone tries to put things into perspective, you just see people criticizing the speaker in ways like "Did he really just say _____". No **** they said it, but instead of pointing it out, can you actually think about it, so that you can prove why the statement is incorrect? Instead of laughing at a speaker, prove him wrong so he will shut the **** up.

couple people already did, but the guy wont STFU. Instead he brings slavery and civil rights into the argument. Besides you shut yourself up with your own posts. You want to argue, but every time they shut you down you bring BUTS and CONDITIONS to your previous statements.

This is why we have so many problems in our world. People are too closed-minded to consider why things they are the way they are-life's procedures are accepted without extra consideration, if they're indoctrinated early on. And when anything questions the truths that have been established, it's seen as hilarious.
