This thread is laughable. Both servers are too different to compare, and are designed to cater to different types of players. Graphics-wise, I agree that Classic has a more coherent style, as would be expected when you look at their talented graphics team members.
As far as gameplay content goes, I think Classic has a better approach than we do at iEra in that their developers are encouraged to focus on quality over quantity. iEra has (in my opinion) fallen into a lapse of comfort in that many of our developers think that releases of new hats and holiday shops is content, and this is a cycle that some of us in the team are actively trying to break (see my quest projects, Era Countryside, etc). It is difficult however, due to the general lack of scripting ability. iEra currently has around about 4 developers who I would even consider "Good", bear in mind none of us (both iEra and, as far as I know, Classic staff) are paid for any work we do on a server, and therefore tend to prioritise our lives (work/university/life in general) over Graal.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that bear in mind that all of the staffmembers actively working to provide content are doing it 100% for free, out of the goodness of their heart, so you can't really expect the same quality and quantity as you would from a commercial game studio. That's an error caused by the entire business model that graal uses.
I agree with rufus that both servers could use improvements, and I believe that we, as developers should always be striving to make the game as fun as possible for players, but bear in mind we do have to prioritise other things over a volunteer "job".
