| If you're going to treat it as 400 zc items in one I don't understand why people would be bothered saving up the 1200 zc. Sure if they all were separate items then you could nerf it but if the gun is say almost equal to the ap rippers/ better (whichever one it was) and the blade would be more equal to the saber like you said after the nerf. Then if it was me I would just use 200-300/1200zc and buy rippers (idk if thats what they are now but when i played i got one for 180) and then use 100 zc to buy a saber for roughly a quarter of the cost, and not have to include the kill grinds to use them properly. I don't have the alien gun/ sword but at no time during playing (even before getting rippers) did I ever get frustrated with the melee/ gun. IMO I saw it as a waste of zc for what it is right now (before you decide to nerf it) and was primarily for aesthetic purposes or to show off
 I honestly don't really care whether it's nerfed/ buffed since I don't have it nor get annoyed by it but that's just my opinion based on what i've seen from this thread, if 9 is to much then make it 8 so at least it isn't disadvantaged by damage to saber, as you would expect for its price but a reduction by 4, or even 3 seems to harsh

 ok 8 is way to high along with 7 because that would just blow the saber out of the water. You forget that the alien dual blade has more range and 0 freeze. Im currently after your argument going to say 6 is going to be the minimum damage. Since you're right, they really shouldn't be treated as 400 zc items since the kill grind is so freaking long for the item. I even have trouble with getting 100 kills with the combat knife and seeing how people get 500 with the alien knife and thats worse than the combat knife. Yea they should be better than 400 zc.
