In response to Ph8: The GST really needs to be automated. Of course, you still need hosts for the "main" winners bracket matches (to monitor fairness and lag etc), but the losers bracket matches wouldnt require a host (because it is less important) and could be fully automated.

An
ideal automated tournament would flow as smoothly as possible. There would be little room for errors, but there would also be little room to correct any errors. Things can get messy. I think the best way to implement an automated system is to go about it little by little until we find our ideal combination of automation and human interaction.
