Nintendo learned their lesson. That's why the rotating control stick mechanic was removed from Mario Party 2 (arguably the best game in the series). Though, to be fair, I had tons of fun with Mario Party 3 (I loved the mode where you played as the enemy characters and the goal was to defeat your opponent. No mini-games, no stars. Just quick turn-by-turn gameplay. And each of the characters had different abilities. I also loved Game Guy (the shy guy gameshow host. That was always fun). 4 was a let down IMO. But I recall 5 being enjoyable. After that they all just seem to blend together in my memory. Each one had a new gimmick, but they were really all the same. They just milked the hell out of the series at this point.
