The social aspect has always been my favourite part of the game too. I've met so many awesome people, some of which I've had some really deep conversations with. Also, the times I find myself playing for hours on end (without realizing the time going by) is when a bunch of my guildmates/allies are on. And just like life, you meet some people just by total chance, and they end up becoming good friends. Like LwMark (who also posts on this forum). I just randomly bumped into him one day while looting. We recognized eachother from this forum. I invited him to my guild, and we've been good friends ever since.
Another case of meeting someone by total fluke was this guy who found me by searching "chaos" in the player search ("chaos" is in my guild name). He was looking for someone for a particular statue in his house and I had a look he was interested in using. Soon after that I invite him to my guild and we've been friends ever since.
It's just awesome how you meet total strangers who end up becoming such good friends. Sometimes I just comment on someone's hat/mount/whatever, and then we start talking for like 40+ minutes about the old days of Classic and stuff like that.
And even when none of my friends are around, there are still times I'm able to enjoy the game on a social level. Sometimes I'll go to one of the washrooms in the Railroad Building (which are awesome, by the way. Would love to see more interactive stuff like that in-game) and just screw around with noobs and strangers. Like using my skeleton morph in one of the stalls (it totally looks like the skeleton is sitting on the toilet seat), or using a small morph (like the turkey morph) and hiding behind the stall door, totally surprising whoever opens it. Also, using the "cry" item while behind the stall door is fun to do (because it totally looks like something else).
Also, I enjoy wearing my snowman head and body sometimes. One time, I was in the prison (in the police station), and by cleverly using different heads/hats, I made it look like I was melting or freezing, based on whether people used that flamethrower shield, or the water spraying shield. (I was very committed to the bit). The people around definitely enjoyed the show. Also, I've had some fun RPing in the prison. Again, when you have as many hats, morphs, and items as I do, it's fun to, well, use them to have some fun. The Yeti morph never fails to get people's attention.
Anyway, just sharing some ways I have fun playing Graal from a social aspect. I like this thread. With all the negativity, it's nice to see a positive thread about the awesomeness of Graal Classic (because it is awesome, all things considered. I mean, we all play it).
