We were talking about it in class today, and my professor made a good point.
Why would we trust those trying to control Ebola saying "It's not contagious" when they're trying to control it and not panic us?
It's spreading so rapidly in Africa, I'm sure it probably is very contagious and we're being told it isn't easily spreadable just to not freak us out so we don't all rampage on the topic.
Wouldn't be the first time things relatively similar was being hidden.
