You people are treating ebola like it's the zombie apocolypse. Things such as mass graves/quarantines are obviously prepared EVEN IF things get extreme, which they won't. I partially blame the media for scaring you pansies so much, but cmon some people need to think.
As far as cultural differences, I come from/live in the south as well, and I'm still not acting mental over 3 cases of Ebola in the US. It's not about where you're from, it's about what goes on inside your mind, and how you evaluate risks. Apperantly there are those who cannot do so effectively, (resulting in paranoia, in crude medical terms).

The conversation dropped from Ebola to any type of disaster quite a while ago.
It started because Simons, Fyse, and the others thought the fact that I was prepared for a disaster made me an idiot.
I simply am critical of Ebola and the potential it has. Even if it got serious it would take a very long time and would probably be due to some mutation. I don't really think it will be what tears civilized nations apart- but I am not completely ruling it out just because thats what some person who works for the CDC says.
