Ok so my in game name is kirito and over my time spent on graal I have managed to require 6 1k hats , they key to acquires these most of the time is just be active , however if you join a guild with a **** leader chances are if your nt his/her friend and don't lic their ass then you won't get the hat....
Personally your intention to tower is not relevant , hat chasers seem to always be seemed as the downside of guilds when in reality a lot of the times they do most of the guilds job.

Personally out of the 6 1k hats I have squired , in some of the six guilds I did only do it in intention of getting a hat and in some I did it for friends and fun.

So the key things really is get a decent guild with people you get along with and are friends with an be active , or kiss a leaders ass when eve he is online and it does the trick. If you think / know the leader does not like you and your in it for the hat then I suggest you leave cuz chances are you won't get picked!

Finally even of your intention is to just do it for the hat , I do not suggest you reveal this as most 12-16 year old guild leaders do not understand common helping logic and just base their decision on intentions and on lic ass levels
