Welcome to HTML/coding! This is not a bug/glitch--it's just how it works. In order to use quotations(which are important when coding) you must escape them by putting a backslash in front of the quotation marks.

Like so:

\"Hello\"

This tells the code not to bother messing with those quotations and ignore them, and the backslashes do not appear in the output.
