I was browsing various subreddits I haven't seen before, and I came across one called r/WritingPrompts. A bunch of people get together and post prompts, or ask to be prompted to write just about anything, from persuasive essays to science fiction. I thought the idea was super cool, and I thought I could bring some of the prompts here for people to creatively write and show off just for fun.

I'll start us off with this one:
