When you reload the repeater the reload animation is of the old repeater skin and it looks different from the normal repeater (if you dont get it reload the repeater ingame and youll see)

The repeater is in the old form even if you don't move and not shoot it. The only time is in it's new form is when it's shooting, and this is not supposed to happen.
