Bluehost and Hostgator are both part of EIG and are quite terrible.

I would recommend keeping your hosting and email separate and going with at least Google Apps for Business or Microsoft Hosted Exchange. $4-5/mailbox/mo and you can add as many aliases and domains to it as you like.

If I was going to recommend shared hosting I would likely go with Nixihost or Veerotech.
