Are you saying their should not be a weakness to using them? The weakness of the arrow is the freeze and it can be blocked with a shield.

We used to be able to bomb spam ~> admins didnt like that. Instead of adding a 1sec cooldown, like they did with arrows awhile back; laying a bomb now causes your player to stop moving a second. I was saying: sword and arrow makes you stop moving too, but sword and arrow will instantly hurt others, so you arent left vulnerable like with bombs currently.
