Id rather not have 4-5 message boxes spanning the entire top of my screen. I would agree with separating guild chat from everything else.
Basically move event messages back to the main box, and move guild messages to the secondary box.
Or make PMs and admin messages appear at the top of your inbox; like how event messages used to work (I preferred it when it was like this).

Do you really think it's going to be a common scenario to have a PM, guild message, guild invite, and admin message at the same time? Seems pretty unlikely...
