Of course there are going to be pirates out there who pirate movies and aid others in doing so, it's just a fact of the internet.

So the government can just shut down this website? Nope. That violates the owner's rights.

In my honest opinion, the site should have more ways of stopping pirates. A new legislation should be passed requiring them to have a data base of copyrighted movies, etc. that can detect similar ones. (This would have to have pitch, tone, speed, and other detections to actually work, of course.) To just shut down the site, however, is completely inappropriate and goes against people's rights in America.

Popular Sovereignty. A government's power comes from it's people.

So basically there's many more things wrong with the population of America than this, and it is going to take excellent, skilled people to fix these problems.
