9,800 is as far as you can go. A lot of people have gotten it.
Maybe if the lines below were taken off, it would be harder to aim.

True that anyone can get it but you're only recognized for it if you're the first person to do it after the high scores reset.
If this were implemented it would mean you would see different people with a high score and it wouldn't just be the first person who managed to reach 9,800 points before anyone else.
